Theme: AI in Logistics and Supply Chains
We are delighted to annouce a new workshop in Artificial Intelligence,
the 1st Mahasarakham
International Workshop on AI (MIWAI 2007).
We intend this to be the first in an annual series,
with each year
focusing on a different sub-area of AI. It is organised and hosted by
the
Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, Thailand.
The workshop is composed of technical and industrial
tracks. The technical track aims at
high quality research
publications in AI which are applicable to real world problems
including
supply chains/logistics. The industrial track aims at
being a demonstration to industrial sectors
how advances in AI can
be used to help increasing revenue in their business.
In this rapidly changing world, it is widely recognized that
logistics and supply chains operations
are increasingly important
factors in local and global scale of economics. Especially, in
Asia
where
many economic activities are taking place. Hence, this
year's overall theme of the workshop is
"AI in Logistics and Supply
Chains".
